Getting to Costa Rica

Centrally located with two major international airports and a third on its way, Costa Rica is easily reached from anywhere in the globe. North American flight times range from 2.5 hours to 6 hours on average, with European flight times ranging from 8 to 12 hours.

Once in San Jose you can choose to fly direct to Tambor, a quick 25 minute commuter flight, or drive the newly constructed highway with stunning views of the Costa Rican central valley mountain ranges to Punterenas, board the Tambor ferry to cross the beautiful Bay of Nicoya and on to Tambor, this route will provide you with amazing Costa Rican sights and scenery and will take approximately 3.5 hours to complete.
