Costa Rica is considered to have a stable climate and for many months of the year you can enjoy little or no rain and much sunshine with average temperatures between 22 and 35 degrees Celsius or 72 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit. The Central Valley sees more rainfall with an average temperature of 22 degrees, while the Pacific Coast enjoys more sunshine and temperatures hovering between 28 and 35 degrees or 80 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

There are two well defined seasons winter and summer. Summer season runs from November to mid July with clear skies, sunny days and little rain. Winter season starts in full in August and runs to the end of October. There is very little difference in temperature between the seasons other than rainfall averages.
